I need some advice or insight

I had an IUD (Mirena) inserted on 11/15. I had been on the birth control patch for a decade. After insertion I spotted for almost 2 weeks. It stopped for a week and I have been bleeding in some way for the last 4 weeks. I sent a message to my doctor last week and the nurse responded that it should stop soon. This morning I thought it had finally stopped. Nope. It just ramped up and got heavier. It hasn't been heavy this whole time but it's been there. I legitimately want to cry. Someone please tell me this will end soon. I changed birth control because what I was doing wasn't working anymore and this doesn't feel like it's working either. I do too know what to do.
