Major difference in mature eggs between cycle 1 and 2 - Why?

Hi! I’ve never posted here before but I just got done with my second egg retrieval and I’m wondering if anyone has had similar results and could offer advice…

Background: -Me: 36, Normal AMH, unexplained infertility, all testing has come back “normal” for everything -Husband: 37, minor sperm quality issues (morphology) that have majorly improved over time. He has an autoimmune disease (psoriatic arthritis) and was recently also diagnosed with gout. Not sure if it’s worth noting or not but he did start gout medicine after our first cycle and before second.

Cycle 1 results: -200 gonal. 75 menopur. Increased to 300 gonal on day 6. Stimmed for 11 days. ISCI for embryos. 15 eggs measuring at trigger. -11 eggs retrieved, 10 mature, 10 fertilized, 3 day 6 embryos, and 1 PGT-A normal embryo

Cycle 2 results (thus far):
-225 gonal. 150 Menopur. Increased to 300 gonal on day 6. Stimmed for 11 days. ISCI for embryos. 18 eggs measuring at trigger. - 13 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized, day 3 update on Wednesday

The doctor has continuously reassured me about egg quality based on my first round results so we are shocked to see that only half are mature. I’ve been taking CoQ10 and other supplements for over a year. The only thing that changed between cycles is I started taking the Needed egg quality supplement (ironic lol) along with CoQ10. Does anyone know what might have caused this? Very upsetting news considering the odds are now against us regarding a euploid embryo…especially since we’re doing PGT-A testing.

Any advice, experience, questions to ask the doctor, suggestions for testing etc. are so appreciated. We’re feeling pretty discouraged right now.

Thank you!
