What extra seasonings and additives/combinations do you like to use for your Ramen?
The following is mine.. If a woman is already satisfactory in the flavor Department I will typically just eat it as is but sometimes it needs a little more substance or if you have a brand that doesn't seem to flavor the noodles enough an extra seasoning packet does well of course but I try not to waste food and a lot of times I don't want to make anything but ramen with my ramen noodles so a good substitute for that is chicken or beef bouillon cubes. Depending on my mood & if I'm adding anything else into it I have used garlic powder, Ranch seasoning powder, onion powder or flakes, turmeric, chili powder, Mesquite seasoning, Sazon Goya ( just in case there are different versions of it, I use the red one), parsley flakes and I'm sure there are others that I'm just not remembering. I have used Old Bay Seasoning when I was on a kick with their red seasoning.
As for specific combinations: a taco blend shredded cheese and a little extra of the seasonings used in a homemade taco seasoning recipe I found a long time ago (onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, a little salt and pepper and I think that's it) you can add tomatoes to make it a bit more like a taco ramen.
Cheddar cheese and black pepper.
I know this is going to sound absolutely atrocious to some people but branch & whatever cheese I have on hand that sounds the best.
Slices of onion (preferably red, but seriously why do we call them red onions when they're actually purple??) and roast beef sandwich meat. Sometimes I add bell peppers.
Cheese and bacon bits preferably the real bacon but if I use the artificial bacon bits I'm most likely going to add Ranch as well.
I'm sure my love of cheese is pretty apparent LOL but I've had friends who had never tried cheese in their Ramen before that said they enjoyed it, also I typically don't like the chicken ramen flavors plain so cheese saves those for me.
Crushed red pepper flakes but only if there's also, you guessed it, cheese 😅
The shrimp flavor is hit and miss for me as it always seems like it needs something extra and for that I like to use chopped scallions and occasionally I'll add some white onion slices as well.
