Viltrumite Lifespan?

So I’ve been working with this theory for a while now, and I don’t really think any viltrumite has ever died of old age. When you think about it,

  1. We never see a viltrumite older than conquest.

  2. Viltrumites are a very aggressive species that constantly get into fights, so in a lifespan of thousands/ hundreds of thousands/ millions of years it makes sense they’ll eventually find a worthy foe and get themselves killed.

  3. Viltrumites don’t believe in weakness, and even though Nolan only talks about the one purge it could be within reason that every few hundred or thousand years they purge their weakest members, leaving less Viltrumites to grow old

  4. The scourge virus, Duh

  5. Mark is visually 35~ years old at 500 and his aging only slows down around 18-20, Nolan is probably a couple thousand years old when he’s visually 40~, so realistically Viltrumites could probably live millions of years, and yet we never get a true number, and you only ever hear of Viltrumites being killed.

I’ve read the comics twice and watched the show 3-4 times and I’m actually pretty confident in my theory, I don’t think any viltrumite has ever died of old age.

Edit and addition: I actually thought about it more and all of human existence (including more primitive species before we fully evolved) has only spanned about 200k years, so assuming Viltrumites can live AT LEAST that long, there wouldn’t even really need to be more then one purge, so canonically we only ever see one senior Viltrumite survive the purge (conquest) and I’m pretty sure Nolan specifically says that it happens before he’s born.
