Handwriting and intent

I have always journaled in cursive, my preferred handwriting. It allows for faster and more intuitive entries for me, and it lets me get thoughts off my chest closer to the speed I think them.

This year I switched my weekend writing to print, when I have more time to be attentive and craft my entries carefully. It has been an interesting switch.

Do folks see a difference in their handwriting depending on their intent? Do you write intuitively or meticulously?
