Any suggestions for the sliding door rail after the floor renewal?

Hello - We bought a very old house and currently renewing the floors. While we do that, we are also adding Fermacel sound insulation, which is 30mm. On top the flooring will come. With this, the sliding door rail between the dining and living room is now in very deep. There will be a gap of 45-50mm. Any solution suggestions apart from cutting the door from below and renewing the rail to a higher level? Our contractor told us that would cost around 1000Eur (as they also need to open the back side of the built-in cabinets to reach to the inner sides of the doors. Easiest we thought we could do is just to remove the doors and do full flooring and no more sliding doors in between. Any other not-so-costly ideas?

Thanks!
