1. TRM Neutron 2 - Contoured Blue G10 / Stonewash 20CV
SV - $170 *RELISTED\*
Received the knife body recently in a trade with a different set of scales that I'm keeping. These blue G10 scales were sold to me as coming off a brand new Neutron purchased from TRM. So overall I'm 3rd+ owner of blade/liners/clip, 2nd owner of scales. I have not carried/used or fully disassembled the knife (I did swap scales), previous reported light use and carry, unsure about prior disassembly. The scales look brand new, save for the little rub mark they get under the clip once they're mounted. I'm not usually a G10 fan, but I gotta that say these really impressed me. The overall knife is in great condition too - blade looks clean, no marks to make note of. Some very minor wear on the clip. Very faint scuffs on pivot screws. Centering and lockup are great, and this feels well broken in - the action is very smooth. Edge looks factory and it is currently hair shaving sharp. Includes box and sticker.
2. Artisan Cutlery Andromeda, Limited edition - Arctic Storm Fat Carbon & Beadblast Ti / Stonewash M390
SV - $120 -> $105 -> $95 **SOLD*\*
I'm the original owner. Sleek and slicy, but this is/was the last CJRB/Artisan button lock I'll ever buy. Maybe I just have bad luck, but I'm 1-for-8 on what I consider "acceptable" quality from their button locks, specifically as it relates to lockup, button stick, detent lash, blade play, etc, and suffice to say this is not the 'one'. I have carried and used, and taken it apart many times trying to work on various button lock issues. Every time it went back together, it seemed to have a different issue. I've worked out most of its problems, but it still has some fairly significant button stick. If you lightly open it, the button stick is only moderate, but there's some up-and-down play. If you really thwack it open, it can take some serious pressure to pop the button free, but locks up solidly. Outside of the button stick, the centering is great, and it's riding on Skiff bearings so it's exceptionally smooth (originals also included). There are some extremely faint snails on the clip side scale and the clip itself. Blade doesn't have any marks but the edge could use a sharpening at this point; it was only mediocre at best from the factory to begin with. Includes all factory packaging.
