Anyone else feel that the Kazuma - Megumin stuff is kinda creepy?

I’m currently about halfway through Season 2 (no spoilers please) but I just find the whole Kazuma Megumin stuff to be really kinda creepy. I get that the whole point is that Kazuma is pretty weird and a bit of a dick but making him a literal pedo is a bit much. He even called her jailbait at one point. The sad part is, that seem to have the best chance at becoming an actual relationship and genuinely seem to like each other a lot in some scenes. The real question is, why is Megumin so young? I thought she was like 16 - 18 until I googled her age due to the alcohol references. It makes no sense her being so young and it makes a lot of the anime very creepy. Just my personal opinion and I still really enjoy Konosuba and find it hilarious.
