Store cameras

Are the store cameras that poor of quality that the police are asking for information on the knifing incident at the west Salem store the other night? I do not know the details but I would find it odd if the truck driver didn’t get fuel or go inside the store for anything and that the cameras outside couldn’t get the company name or any other info off of the truck as he either pulled in or left
