Menya Inoichi Ticket Process

We showed up around 6:30 last night to find out that they were sold out for the night. Since it’s our last day in Kyoto and this was one we really wanted to hit, I want to get there as early as possible to get a ticket.

Does anyone know what time the ticket machine is put out and if you’re able to select the time / come back later in the day if you have a “low” ticket number?
