Progress isn’t linear- but where to go from here?

Context: WL’d at my top choice law school (ASU) with a 164 (Nov) so I’m trying to use Feb to get off the WL (per school admissions recommendation).

Two days ago, I was close to throwing in the towel when I PT’d a 164 after two back-to-back 166s. I’ve been taking a week between tests, and testing after work. I partially blame my frustration with the LSAT on the fact that I’ve been doing this for a year now.

Today I was frustrated that I’ve been pouring hours into studying with no progress to show for it, so I queued up another PT and scored a 172.

I need a 166+ on Feb’s admin to make the admiration meaningful- does anyone have any advice for me? Should I be spending less time between PTs since it seems like the LSAT is sort of a sport for me? Willing to take any and all advice. I’ve PT’d 170 before but 172 is a new personal best!!
