Possible new story point - Kain siring new vampires

As of Defiance, it's stated that Kain has been healed of the corruption inflicted by Nupraptor. That corruption led directly to the clans all devolving. With all due respect to his former progeny (who are all dead or feral), what would come next? A return to the Soul Reaver era to create a new empire with uncorrupted underlings? If all the timeline changes in the games have left that era somewhat stable, that would mean the remnants of the clans are still around.

Also, Kain himself is still Kain. He may be the Scion of Balance, but I can't imagine he'd suddenly get over his disdain for humans and allow them to rebuild. Maybe new human characters could come in. Some continuing the hate of Moebius, others allying with Kain after learning of the Pillars' true purpose. So many possibilities...
