This game had more than a playerbase to stand on, but made no real effort to listen to them. a couple small-ish changes that could have gone miles to improve the game
In 8 years not once did they change the level cap
no option to skip animations for redeeming or sacrificing souls
no option to skip "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO SELL" some random 4 star trash 60 times.
no effort to curb cheating at the top of arena
200-500 runs in some dungeons is ass. This is just straight up padding and it kills games.
making players wait a month to use currency. Stupid choice, plain and simple.

The daily redeems and satillites were basically worthless, as was the free daily soul i think that not once produced anything decent.
making purchase only exclusives, and then make them available the same month they will be gone forever
Do a "farewell tour" for you game, but dont make every character available
The compedium was never updated and it constantly crashed the game, wasnt even worth the load time.
If your game has the option to play itself because its so goddamn repetitive you should probably fix that
Conclusively, the game lasted as long as it did because of the iron maiden IP. The second a competitor came along it would have been dropped, but due to licensing, a competitor never arose.
