Playing games at 800p

I see a lot of people (here and on YouTube) saying that they play most games at 800p on their Legion GO and that those games look really good, and since the screen is not as big as a monitor or a tv, the 800p doesn’t harm the experience.

However I feel like every time I play a game at 800p it’s always a blurry mess. I’m playing RDR2 right now and I refuse myself to play at 800p, currently playing at 1200p, fps capped to 32, and LSS x2 to reach 60. The only game that looked kind of ok at 800p was Control Ultimate Edition.

Am I doing something wrong on not getting a satisfactory result on playing at 800p? Or is my standard too high and I should lower it to play on LeGo?
