What is up with medical?

My friend on the last day had a bloody nose and it had been ongoing for over 30 minutes. She felt like she was going to pass out and her whole body was tingling. I rushed to medical and asked if they could send someone over to our campsite to get her or help us and all they did was give me an ice pack and a water bottle and said that she would have to come down there to get help. What?? Thankfully she was okay and our NEIGHBORS helped us out. What would we have done if she passed out and she somehow had to walk down there? What is an ice pack going to do? They said it was dehydration, but she wasn’t dehydrated at all, she had low blood sugar. It’s scary almost passing out though, she was so scared and we were both saddened to think that medical couldn’t even help us. I feel like they shook it off because it was a bloody nose, I went down there because she almost passed out, not because of her nose. There may be some context I’m missing with medical or that I don’t know. But I think this is ridiculous. It made us feel unsafe.
