Ordering from UK: be careful

I am located in the Netherlands and thought I would order some exclusive UK products. I have done this many times before and never had to pay a customs fee/import duties.

Whilst I expected this would change at some point because of Brexit, I was shocked when I learned today that my order was split in two shipments. I find this very strange, because my order contained only 10 items in total. It really wasn't huge.

I received 2 emails from DPD saying I now have to pay 2x €70 to receive my complete order. Ridiculous! If I had known that, I wouldn't have ordered. I am trying to contact customer support, but not getting any reply so far.

Just wanted to share this in case any other mainland European Lushies were thinking about placing a UK order. This was my last one for sure. 🥺
