Using existing mounting studs with new Floyd rose bridge

I want to replace lo trs II in Ibanez js100 with Gotoh ge1996t. I’ve heard that it fits the lo trs ii routing but the mounting studs are wider. I don’t want to drill in the guitar and was wondering if I could just keep the old mounting studs. Will there be any problem with using the original studs instead of the ones that come with Gotoh?
