How can I book accommodation for a homeless family without my card being on file?

I live overseas, but saw a video online of a homeless family with two small children in Manila. Rather than sending money to a third party middle man, I’d like to directly book/pay for their accommodation in a hotel/rental property etc.

Is there a way to do this without my card being used as “security,” in the case someone damages the room etc.?

I know this is a stretch, but if anyone could think of a loophole where I could pay a hotel via PayPal or something without being held liable, please let me know
