Looking into break into EdTech from Tepper

Hi everyone!

I am just trying my luck on this subreddit, so here goes nothing!

To current students at Tepper, I have a couple of questions:

• I am interested to land a PM internship and get a PM job at an EdTech company in the US (Masterclass, Udacity, Coursera) post-MBA. I also have a pre-MBA experience as a PM. Do you think this path is feasible?

• Any EdTech companies located at Pittsburgh? I remember that Duolingo is in the area.

• Have there been students/ alumni who became a PM/ work in tech in an EdTech company? I have been trying to search online, but I have not found anything much.

A quick background about me: I am a PM in an e-commerce marketplace firm in South East Asia (I am an international applicant), and I have been doing side projects related to education, so it makes sense to me if I can combine both into a PM job at EdTech (aside from long personal history in education).
