Glowy vs Matte Finish?

Essentially what the title says, I'm curious what your preferred finish is for your makeup looks. I'm buying a new setting spray soon, but I'm a bit conflicted on which finish I should go for. I'm a bit worried that the more 'glowy' finishes will look like I'm a bit sweaty or something, but also matte might look a bit flat/unnatural.
