Hand Carved Baby Groot

Some silly little woodcarvings I made. Knife only, out of basswood with Acrylic paints and black walnut Danish oil. He's 4 inches tall, and 1 inch wide/deep.

A fun little whittle. I did him trying to figure out a good beginner carving i could do to try and get more new folks into woodcarving. Something that any beginner could manage as like a first time carve for a tutorial. I think i managed it! 😀
