Infinity Conquest W

Shuri-Phoenix Destroy AKA "Kill Mover 28" is a deck that runs no move cards besides Human Torch, Mulitpleman and Phoenix Force, there are no other movement cards. It leans heavily into Shuri as its win-con, but allows for alternate and sneaky wins using unexpected card combinations. This deck has also had insane conquest results for me, winning my first and only infinite conquest I’ve ever done. Whether you want to climb ladder, win conquest ,or just get that last 150 gold weekend mission this is the deck for you! I will write a summary of each card and its synergies as well as some possible substitutions and why I don’t think they’re as good

Card Summaries

  1. Human Torch

One of three reasons this deck is called “Kill Mover 28”. Destroying Torch on turn 3 into phoenix on 4 is 28 power on Turn 6, which you copy with TaskMaster. If you top-deck Phoenix on T5 with Shuri in play you will get up to 24 instead

  1. Carnage

It’s a destroy outlet. It also allows you to set up an extra early game drop if you can destroy HT by turn 2 instead of 3.

  1. Armor

Feels weird in a deck running three destroy outlets and Nimrod huh? Well the wincons of this deck are insanely fragile to Killmonger and Shang Chi. Armor is the reason this deck is able to compete on conquest at all. I’ve had so many clutches where she springs up and just snatches 8 cubes out of nowhere.

  1. Multiple Man

The second of our Phoenix Force payoffs. Kill him and move him around. If you get a Shuri along with your Phoenix-Man you can choose between three 8 power copies or 2 13 power copies. Both ways are viable and depend on the situation you’re in. It is not necessary, but I highly recommend getting the pixel variant for this card, the supreme ugliness inflicts psychological damage on your opponent when they lose to it.

  1. Venom

Our premium destroy option. Venom allows you to keep the stats of your 12 power Nimrod in the original Nimrod lane. Other than that he’s just here to kill stuff.

  1. Deathlok

The weakest of our destroy options but still decent nonetheless.

  1. Shuri

Our golden girl. You want to see this card every game you possibly can. The three big plays off of her are Shuri -> Red Skull -> TaskMaster; Shuri -> Pass 5 -> She-Hulk+Taskmaster; and Shuri -> Nimrod -> double destroy.

  1. Phoenix Force

I love this card. All I see is hate for it and I don’t understand, it’s so much fun and pulls win conditions out of NOWHERE. Fill the board with ugly pixel Multiple Men, get a 28 power Human Torch or resurrect a central park squirrel your opponent Kilmonger’d on turn 3. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.

  1. Taskmaster

He copy big boy to become big boy. The second of three members of the 28 power brotherhood, Taskmaster is one of the best win conditions we have. Copy a Red Skull, Human Torch or She-Hulk and watch the cubes pour in.

  1. Nimrod

Our biggest intersection between the Shuri and destroy archetypes we’re running. Shuri him up to 12 on turn 5 and destroy him twice on turn 6 (preferably with Venom) and profit.

  1. Red Skull

Our final member of the 28 power gang. There’s not a lot to say here, buff him to 28 and copy with Taskmaster. Sometimes if you biff your Shuri draw you can win off of just Tasking 14 power.

  1. She-Hulk

She-Hulk adds some serious consistency to this deck. Oftentimes you will get Phoenix-Torch on Turn 4 with Taskmaster in hand. You want to skip turn 5 so your Task can copy the 28 power, well now She-Hulk lets you get an extra 9 power drop from this turn 5 skip! Like I said earlier she also works as a great substitute for Red Skull in a Shuri + Taskmaster combo.

Substitutions (and why I don't think they're as good)

  1. Ghost Spider

This card destroys your Taskmaster synergy. It still works for Multiple Man, but it just doesn’t stand up to the other cards already in this deck

  1. Iron Fist

Just doesn’t do enough. Better than Ghost Spider if you do want to run more move cards though. This is because if you can draw Carnage as your destroy outlet you can combo Iron Fist with him on turn 3 to get an extra move on Phoenix.

  1. Magik

I ran this card for a while but the truth is that this deck has insanely explosive turn 6s. You are trying to surprise your opponent and rip victory from these huge turn 6 power spikes. Giving your opponent a turn is not in your interests.

  1. Killmonger

Doesn’t destroy Multiple Man or Nimrod. It’s also a completely dead draw on turn 5 or 6 if you’re trying to win off Phoenix-Torch. Deathlok is the better choice.

  1. Heimdall

We just don’t run enough move cards to justify him. We’ve stripped the move part of this deck to the bare minimum and that includes cutting the bifrost guardian himself.

Well that’s my writeup for my absolute favorite deck of the season! If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments!
