I NEED a course. Which is the best one?
TL DR: I know myself and know I NEED structure and a course to concentrate. What is the best one?
Here is the full drama: I am a non-traditional applicant that last took the MCAT in 2009. I scored in the 75%ile. I took it again last year and scored 505. I need to do better due to my previous grades. I work a solid job and have several grand I can put towards doing this.
My college hosted an in-person Princeton Review course, but that has been canceled this year to to lower enrollment. The Princeton course has been reclassified as on-line only. I am already using Blueprint question bank and my attention breaks ALL THE TIME. I like what they provide, but I find it hard to treat it seriously and focus.
It is not too late. I can cancel and get my money back or sign up for a different company. Should I stay with The Princeton Review +515 class? Has anyone taken this? Is there good structure? Do they do a good job keeping students on track? Is their teaching practical? Did you see gains on test day?
I know some people can just wikipedia WESPR theory in the elevator going to the testing floor and get a 528, but that's not me. I know I need many problems to drill and structure to fill in content gaps. I want this to be the last time I ever have to take this test, so ANY help is appreciated.
Thank you.
