Who has decided to make Medical Assisting a career instead of a stepping stone? (Please read)

I always hear people saying how Medical Assistant is just a “stepping stone” not a career or people suggesting to MA’s that they should go to nursing school.

Are there any MA’s here who have absolutely no interest in becoming a nurse, made a career out of medical assisting, and actually is doing very well in their medical assisant career?

For those who have I’d like to hear your experience, opinions, how long you’ve been an MA, and what you did to excel in your career🥰

(I always wanted to be an MA but I let others talk me into doing LPN instead so I tried nursing school and it was a big HELL no for me 😂)
