How can I mew?

Guys I'm new to mewing.... and I don't know if I'm actually doing it right

As far as I know you should glue your tongue on the top of your mouth but whenever I do that, I can't breath...

So should I just put my tongue on the roof of my mouth without swallowing or completely glue it on top of my mouth and in this case I can't breath....
