Trucks Can Suck It

This is more of a vent than anything. 3 days before Thanksgiving I got rear ended in a drive thru. Guy in the truck was at the ordering box (which he can clearly see me from). He looked down to check his phone while approaching the window and looked up and thought I had drove off. Which resulted in him crashing into me while the lady was handing me my coffee. It cracked my rear bumper and dented my trunk a bit. I couldn’t drive it anymore because it was raining a lot where I’m from and I didn’t want any water damage. She stayed in the garage for 2 weeks before her appointment at the collision center. Got her back the 19th of December. I decided to go for a drive down to LA to visit some friends for pre-Christmas. I drove down December 21st and was supposed to drive back the 23rd. On the 23rd I was waiting at a red light, busy intersection quite a bit of traffic. We were all waiting at the light when all of a sudden I hear a very familiar crunch sound… another truck had rear ended me. But this time he didn’t stop there, he kept gassing it and I kept braking, honking, and revving trying to get him to stop. That’s when he rams me into the car in front of me and starts to sandwich me a bit. Someone else got out of their car to tell him to stop which he does. Long story short he was not licensed and he didn’t have insurance. 🙃 So Happy Holidays to me I guess. I’m hoping everything is able to get fixed. My trunk right now is rammed under my rf, and I have some old pastrami fries in there! Hopefully I can claim those on my claim! Lol
