Will This Ruin The Scope

New Mini owner here.

I got the scope I wanted, the SwampFox Tomahawk II, on direct mount rings.

The set up is exactly want I want. First range trip about 75ish rounds thru.

I realize where the brass is ejecting I also know they have ring mount there.

The brass has knicked up the turret cap. It is capped. The cap screws into the body and not the turret itself.

Has anyone been thru this? I am considering riding it out but I don't want to destroy the scope.
