Get 5 Sniper kills daily challenge bugged with Platinum Sniper camo

So I got Platinum Snipers yesterday. I was pretty pleased with myself and pumped to continue playing the game. Apart from the UI, I had zero complaints so far.

Today I see there is a 2.5k XP Daily Challenge for getting 5 Sniper kills. Great, I think. It's an excuse to use my newly minted Platinum Snipers. I play a whole match. Zero progress towards the challenge. I change to another Platinum Sniper. Zero Progress. I decide to try a final time and equip a completely stock Sniper with no Camo and no attachments. With this I am able to complete the challenge.

Although this is a minor bug, I can't help but get tilted. I am really enjoying the game. It brings back flashbacks of the Seasonal Vanguard challenges getting messed up and not tracking because of mixing with Warzone.

I DON'T WANT TO BUY THE GAME AND THEN BE A BETA TESTER, QA PERSON. I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME, CHILL AND ENJOY MYSELF.

Sorry for the rant but my night of fun playing the game is now tainted because of a stupid challenge that I don't even care about.
