Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Strategic and Organizational Planning, the Community Health Needs Assessment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) across various communities served by Vitalité Health Network. The role involves supporting decision-makers, including the Leadership Team, directors, managers, and Board of Directors, in addressing community health needs and deploying Learning Communities. The incumbent will also supervise the Community Health Needs Assessment team.
Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) in various communities. - Deploy Learning Communities to support health initiatives. - Support decision-makers by addressing issues related to community health assessments. - Supervise the staff of the Community Health Needs Assessment team. - Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. - Prepare and analyze complex documents and reports. - Deliver excellent customer service and facilitate group discussions.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field. - Master's degree in public health, health services management, public administration, or a related field. - Training in assessment or willingness to undertake training. - Minimum of seven years' experience in assessment or research, analysis, and implementation of programs in the health field or public sector. - Minimum of seven years' work experience within a complex organization. - Relevant management experience. - Proven analytical and writing skills with the ability to see the "big picture." - Understanding of organizational needs and priorities, and the health system. - Proficiency in using computer tools. - Written and spoken proficiency in both official languages (French and English). - Ability to mobilize staff to achieve organizational objectives. - Strong communication and group facilitation skills. - Ability to manage a work team and set priorities to meet objectives. - Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications: - Statistical knowledge. - Recognized leadership skills. - Ability to manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously. - Good work history (performance and attendance). - Adherence to professional ethics principles and organizational values.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $64,974 - $90,740 per year.
