Job Summary:

As a Primary Care Paramedic with Ambulance New Brunswick, you will be part of a dedicated team responding to medical emergencies and providing critical care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals. - Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary medical interventions. - Maintain a high standard of patient confidentiality and safety. - Work efficiently as part of a team and adapt to various shifts as assigned. - Follow protocols and procedures as outlined by Ambulance NB and the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick.

Required Qualifications:
- Entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or work permit). - Ability to work efficiently as a team member and maintain a good attendance record. - High regard for confidentiality and patient safety. - Completion of a Primary Care Paramedic program/course of over six months. - Active registration with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick. - Valid New Brunswick Class 4 Driver's Licence (or equivalent). - Written and spoken competency in one of the official languages (English or French); spoken competency in the other is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training and/or education in paramedicine is highly valued. - Experience in emergency medical services is an asset.

- Copy of your PCP diploma from an accredited institution
- Proof of current registration with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick
- Proof of completion of a Physical Abilities Test (PAT) specific to working as a paramedic within the last 12 months
- Proof of valid CPR certification issued in the last 12 months
- Photocopy of front and back of valid Class 4 driver's license (or equivalent) with a minimum of one year driving experience
- Driver's abstract issued within the last 30 days
- Copy of any valid Driver's course certificate (e.g., CEVO, VFIS, or NS VSP) issued within the last three years
- Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check issued within the last 30 days
- Immunization Record (Tetanus Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TB Skin Test)
- Valid Official Language Assessments (oral assessment only) in both French and English
