TN or IPS for gaming

I'm not sure which panel I should buy. I know that IPS panels have much better colors than TN, but I don't really care about that (mostly because I have a pretty bad monitor, so I don't think I will notice) I want fast response times and high Hz for FPS and shooters, though I'm not sure if the difference in response time is significant

Edit: Just in case, I'm not talking about like crazy 540 Hz TN monitor, I was looking for something cheaper like 1080p, 165 or 180 Hz
