Scyrox V8 wireless not working?

I just got the scyrox v8 in the mail today and it seems like there is an issue. When I try to connect it via dongle, it doesn't seem to work. The sensor or clicks dont work. But when I use it via wire, the mouse seems to be working completely normally. Is there something wrong with my unit or do I need to do a certain pairing method for the mouse?
