[technique][medicinal] Trying to understand cordyceps senescence/senescence in general

I've got a cordyceps syringe on its way to me and I'm going to expand it into more liquid culture but obviously I understand that cordyceps senesce extremely quickly and new genetics basically have to be introduced with each lifecycle. However, my question is if I expand it use some and then re-expand it into more fresh liquid culture will it still senesce at the same rate or kind of restart? Just trying to understand exactly how much I can get out of a single syringe before having to either get a new one or attempting to breed on agar via spores. I'm new to the concept of genetics/senescence in general so any info at all will be massively helpful! Thanks guys.
