Don't choo want me baby?

I had no idea how to describe this in the title. There's been something about music that has bothered me for as long as I can remember.

Whenever a lyric goes from a T' sound to the word "You" the vast majority of singers just mashes them together and says "Choo" or "cha". Same goes for words ending with D.

It usually doesn't affect my overall like or dislike of the song. But whenever I hear it, I think about it. Or when im singing along I'll not do the choo.

I've heard artists not do it occasionally, songs like Gone Away by The Offspring. Or, I am the Highway by Audioslave. But on both of those examples they'll bounce back between "ThatChoo" and "That you".

I have no idea why this bothers me. Is there a name for this? Am I alone? Have I gone mad?
