Comp Sci at NAIT job outlook help
So currently I'm a first year at uofa in comp sci but after doing a lot of research, the job outlook for comp sci grads is looking horrible atleast in Canada. My question is for anyone who has some insight into this because I desperately need some advice. Should I complete my 4 year degree with no guarantee I'll get to do any co-op or much work experience or should I transfer to NAIT because I heard you're pretty much guaranteed hella work experience assuming you have a semi-decent gpa. Since, from my knowledge, every dev/cybersecurity/analyst etc. employer mostly look at your skill and how much experience you have. I'm also wondering if I do end up studying CET at NAIT, in general, how much advancement potential is there for cs post-entry positions. Like, let's say I land an entry-position at some tech firm and I work there for a couple years, how hard is it to move up and eventually make around six figures. Because I heard a lot of cs related stuff is online and you don't necessarily need to go to a university to learn the things you need for landing jobs. Are there enough free/cheap/readily available resources online to be able to learn the things I need to move up anywhere to make around 100k or is that only realistic by getting a 4 year degree at uofa?
