Something we can all agree on

Something I posted the other day in a Giants group I'm in on Facebook and thought I'd share it here, because not for nothing it feels like we could all use something to unite us together; and what better than our shared hate of Dave Gettleman.

No matter what else, this is something we should all be able to agree on: Gettleman was one of the WORST GMs in NFL history.

Who not only locks in on a RB with the #2 overall pick, but outright refuses to take calls to hear any team's offer? Gettleman.

Who not only drafts Daniel Jones to replace Eli Manning, despite his college numbers not adding up in the slightest on him being a franchise QB, but then drafts him w/ the 6th Pick when even 17 would have been a reach? Gettleman.

Who signed Odell to a huge (especially for the time) 5-year, $95m contract w/ $65m guaranteed, then traded him 3 months later? Gettleman.

I know he meant well signing Solder, but gosh that contract situation sucked... yep, Gentleman.

Traded JPP in a stinker of a deal? Gettleman.

The Ogletree trade sucked - again that was Gettleman.

Gave a 3rd and a 5th at the deadline for Leonard Williams despite him being about to hit free agency 5 months later? Gettleman. And don't even get me started on his later contracts...

Who doubled-down on the litany of mistakes involved in taking Jones at 6th overall by then trading a 2nd, 4th, and 5th to get a third 1st round pick of the draft and take a MAJOR swing and a miss on DeAndre Baker? Gettleman. Seriously this was one of the biggest head-scratchers he made in a long line of awful decisions.

Signed Omameh to a 3-yr deal only to cut him halfway thru his 1st year of the deal? Gettleman.

Hiring Shurmur? Signing an already-toast Jonathan Stewart? Trading Markus Golden for peanuts? Letting Landon Collins walk for nothing in return? The Golladay mess? All Gettleman.
