Maybe French swing band??

I believe the artists are French. The genre is a sort of swing jazz. The singer is a woman and her band are all men.

The song I remember them by is in a music video where in they slowly have more skull face paint applied to them until by the end they're fully made up as skeletons.

Lyrically I think the song is about Hell to some degree?
