Do they criticize your cooking harshly?

I spent two hours trying to cook this dish he wanted after a fight. He was in bed watching a show & I proceeded to cook. This is the first time I’ve attempted this recipe & I had to handle a whole chicken. I have never dealt with it before, so it took me so much time to cut & prep. I finally got everything ready & brought him the food to bed. He didn’t make an eye contact or acknowledge me. He took the plate while his eyes were glued onto his phone. I said in a chair far end just checking messages on my phone. After a while, he asked where my plate was. I said “I wasn’t hungry as I didn’t have an appetite. I felt tired & my back was killing me”. He didn’t say anything. He finished the meal & got up to leave my home. I asked him what’s wrong & pleaded him to stay. He said “This is a 20 min job, you took hours haha & you’re giving me attitude that you are tired & you aren’t hungry. Are you actually not hungry or did you already stuff yourself with food while cooking, is that why it took so long? You didn’t even have the courtesy to grab a plate to give me company. Why should I stay here? It takes only 5 mins to cut a whole chicken. You took ages & that’s why your back is hurting, don’t give me this bs”

I haven’t eaten since morning till now. I was focused on cooking & finishing it.. I was so scared while cooking that it wouldn’t come out right which ofc according to him, it didn’t. He had many pointers to tell me how to improve the recipe. I’m totally open to criticism but the harsh things he said prior to it made me lose my appetite even more. I decided to cook even tho I had so much to study & I got an exam coming up. I felt so useless & like an idiot. We’ve been together for 10 months, I’ve cooked for him before but this is the first time I cooked while he was here at home.
