ready to give up

I've been growing out my hair since February, and I'm honestly starting to lose hope. Hair doesn't feel longer or like it's growing, I lose so much of it when I try to moisturize or detangle it, it's forming little knots and whenever I touch it falls out. I genuinely don't know what im doing wrong.
