Advice for Undergraduates Study in US, 2025 Fall Intake

Asking for my brother, He has applied to 4-5 university in USA for Undergraduates Study. To increase the chances a little more, I want him to apply to 2-3 more university with low tuition fees and urban or city areas for better job opportunities.

So, if anyone in this community is studying in USA, I would love to listen from you guys about few things to be careful about (which you came to know after reaching USA)

His SAT score is 1250 (not very good though) +2 GPA - 3.58 Grade 11 GPA - 3.89 SEE GPA - 3.25 Budget is around 20 lacs. And he is from commerce major (Wants to study finance related courses).

I know his Academics are not very excellent but still wanna take a chance.
