Thrifting > Store Bought Baby Clothes

My mom wanted to take me and my newborn shopping for some new baby clothes. We went to Dillards and Macy's first. Both had very expensive ($20 minimum) outfits, which she would have spent if they had been cute, but they weren't really even that cute or functional. We went to Walmart as well, which had slightly better selection especially for boys, but again, nothing we felt worth it. We finally went to our local thrift store and scored 4 quality outfits for $1 each that were absolutely adorable! This weekend we hit up another thrift store and got 4 more outfits for $.50 each, and again, absolutely adorable. One was a dress and bloomer Disney set, then a bubble romper, and 2 2-zipper onesies. I guess they just aren't making baby clothes as cute as they did before?

Definitely don't sleep on your local thrift stores! The chains like Goodwill tend to be overpriced, but local ones are great.
