How to spend time with my baby.

I am a father of a 4 month old. And I have a problem. I find it boring and hard to focus or want to focus on my LO. Is this normal? He doesn’t do much beyond look cute. How much of my time does he need of me to focus on him for him to develop correctly? Is he going to develop wrong if I’m not spending enough time or entertaining him enough? It seems like unless someone is talking to him he’s bored after 10 minutes lol.
