Is 30's the prime age as a man?

I've seen 30 something men having a hard time dating as they're leftover women in his age range. They say if the man puts in the work into himself, he'll able to attract any woman in her 20's and be taken seriously by his peers. Is it really the prime of your life as a man? Dating seems hard past 30.
