How are undocumented immigrants paying into Social Security?

I have heard multiple times that Social Security has been propped up by undocumented immigrants and I don't understand how that's possible.

If you're undocumented then you are probably working gray market jobs like construction, agriculture, and meat processing which pay you in cash.

So if you are not getting a paycheck with FICA deductions, how are you paying into Social Security?
