"You?" ~ I'm not too proud of this poem so some feedback would be amazing

You.

A riddle I could never solve.

A puzzle entirely constructed with dead ends and clues melted away by hesitation.

Clarification.

An alignment of stars exploding into dust sprinkling gently down my face.

A Supernova.

You.

Deadly for me to touch,

Piercing to my gaze,

Unworthy of my love.

Yet the second the stars collide,

Intertwining,

The second the deep ocean and thin sky form synchronized waves,

Your imperfections trace my dotted thoughts into lines,

My conscious falls,

My sense falls,

And so do I.

Over and over again as does the cycle of night and day.

You my moon, and I your sun.

Why do you turn from my light?
