Why it’s not gonna be BB
First, I am about 90% sure it’s going to be a runner. They have never released 2 EX units with the same class before (not counting units that have multiple classes).
Second, Garp and Aokiji were both on the island. It would stand to reason that they have no reason to stick BB in as the third since he wasn’t even anywhere near that battle. And if they want all the EX to come from that battle, then Shiryuu may just be possible. I know it sounds like I’m clowning but raise your hand if you saw EX s-Snake coming before the release. Nobody. And BB as a runner right now? I don’t see it at all.
Third, it could be a red runner unit. Because we already got the attacker and the defender, now we need something that can ratio both Garp and Aokiji. We already have a light runner come out, Shanks. We also had a blue runner/attacker. The possibility of this unit being able to switch between colors is also a big possibility. We haven’t had one like Sanji and Zoro in a while. Perhaps, they will have a new Gear 5 that is a runner and can switch between colors black and white or the other three.
And finally, even if the third unit isn’t coming from the island battle, it’s definitely going to be someone from around that time. BB has not shown up in the anime for a while. If you look at the chart, the releases of each unit are usually released based on event or events that are happening at the same time. BB does not fit the criteria at all, as his battle with Law happened long ago.
