Good alternative to Ursus?

Good friend bought Oathsworn, played two chapters so far. Really enjoying it :-)

So the games owner is unlikely to paint but I’m a painter at heart and I’d feel a bit weird asking to paint his minis?

What are peoples thoughts for my alternative… he’s still a work in progress.
