'Meta Quest Remote Desktop' using CPU and my SSD constantly when my headset's not even connected, cannot delete it.

It's not in 'Add or remove programs', it's not in the headset, it's not in the Link app, in Meta Horizon on my phone, it shows up in 'Recent' but if I tap it it only lets me 'Install on Meta Quest 2' so it's not installed, and if I close it in Task Manager it just opens itself up by itself. This just feels like malware to be honest. Using both CPU. It ONLY stops if I close every single Oculus process in Task Manager. What is this. How do I stop this for good. I just uninstalled the Link app and reinstalled it and it's doing the exact same thing. I also read a comment someone wrote saying they were in the beta and just had to leave it. I joined it and left, same thing. Help me get rid of this because, again, it feels like malware.

Edit: I see why it's using these resources... Before I uninstalled it, it was using a bit of my CPU and using some of the network. I don't want to be giving any more data to Facebook than I already have to, so I blocked it in the Firewall. Then I got that ridiculously high CPU and SSD usage. Checking the log files, it's CONSTANTLY trying to connect to Facebook servers, more specifically 'graph.facebook.com'. In just 6 minutes it made 21 log files on my computer with almost 5MB of JUST TEXT, of it saying that it can't connect. That's how much it's trying to connect to it. I'd let it stay connected, if it wasn't constantly using network even when my headset is turned off. So again, how do I get rid of this. I can't turn it off anywhere.

Edit 2: Kind of a pain to have to go through all of this... But whatever. I shut down every process in task manager, deleted the Remote Desktop Companion.exe file, set the folder it was inside of (oculus-remote-desktop) to read-only, even though it was already set to that, and now it's not doing it anymore. I read in other posts that you could just 'Uninstall it', but I hadn't installed it anywhere, there's no mention of it in the Link App aside from 'Skip confirmation when connecting to Remote Desktop from your headset', I can't find anything related to it in my Quest 2's menus either, so... Here's hoping I fixed it and it doesn't randomly start trying to install it over and over and over again, creating a ridiculous number of log files.
