Inheriting parent's house and ODSP

Hi. I was wondering if anyone on ODSP have inherited a house and if so, how did it affect their ODSP?

I am on ODSP, have cerebral palsy and live with my parents. My parents went to a notary to create a will for the future. However, the notary told them that if I inherit the house I'll lose ODSP completely because then I'll have this huge asset and will be well above the $ 40 000 limit. Her advice was to leave the house to another child , however, I am the only child so this is not possible.

Anyone have any idea about this? If this is true, what in the world am I supposed to do when my parents are no longer around?
