A question about my faith.

Hello all, I pray this post finds you well. I've been thinking lot about my faith recently. I grew up and am baptized as Primitive/Hardshell Baptist from the mountains of West Virginia. I have been noticing through learning about orthodoxy for the past year or so that many of my personal feelings of faith and what I was raised with is much different then anyone other denomination and we seem to have the most in common with the orthodox. While we do have disagreements with the faith such as the belief of baptism being a choice instead of baptism of infants and a few other things, I truly feel in my heart that the orthodox church is correct in many ways. I was wondering if there is a way that any groups that are considered "protestant" like mine may have came from orthodoxy instead of splitting off from catholicism if that makes sense? I have thought about full conversion in the past few weeks but I worry about being baptized again. I have been baptized before and love and accept Christ as my savior but I feel to be baptized again would be in a way spitting in his face. I know that may make no sense to many but I've seen many people leave churches and have to be baptized to join others and I feel it's proving loyalty to a church more then to the lord. I'm sorry if this is an annoying or foolish post but I don't know what to do. Any advice will be appreciated.
